On July 7, Hunan Intellectual Property Office and the Consulate General of the UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Guangzhou jointly held a lecture on British and European patent system and IP operation. Qin Yongzhong, deputy director of Hunan IP Office, and economic consul Shi Feng attended the activity. Over 40 representatives from patent agencies, enterprises and universities participated in the exchanges. Qin welcomed British delegation for visiting Hunan and introduced basic situation of IP in Hunan to them. He expressed that the lecture was significant in improving international cooperation levels of patent agency and enhancing the professional qualities of patent agents.
