Japan-Korea-China IP User Seminar Held


On July 13, 2017, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) held the IP User Seminar on Patent Trial for Invalidation in Japan, Korea and China at the United Nations University (UNU) in Tokyo, Japan.
At this seminar, a report on comparative study of patent trial for invalidation was presented while a panel discussion was held featuring users from Japan, Korea and China to discuss the recent trends in the protection of intellectual property by administrative bodies and judiciary bodies in these countries respectively.
The seminar was attended by approximately 100 IP-related people including the participants, which indicated their high interest in trends in the field of intellectual property in China and Korea.
