The State Intellectual Property Office has announced a pilot project for comprehensive IP administration reform in the following regions: Xiamen in Fujian province, Qingdao in Shandong province, Changsha in Hunan province, Suzhou in Jiangsu province and Xuhui district of Shanghai. The status is valid for a year. The rollout of the first list comes as a response to the central government's calling for comprehensive reforms in the IP sphere, ranging from creation, use and protection to management and services.
