According to relevant statistics released by the State Intellectual Property Office, the electronic patent applications of Anhui in the first half of 2017 accounted for 97.59% of all filings in the province. This rate has climbed up to current 97.59% from 11.6% in 2010 when the electronic application was initially promoted, achieving leap developments.
Officials from the Anhui Intellectual Property Office paid much attention to the promotion work of electronic application, mainly conducting the following four areas of work: 1) incorporating electronic application rate into the annual work assessment indicators; 2) strengthening promotion and providing trainings to enterprises, campuses and communities; 3) improving universities’ electronic application rate by means of promotion and trainings, establishment of facilities and funds; and 4) establishing specific windows to support electronic applications by the public.
