EPO Vice-President Visited the JPO

On September 12, Mr. Lutz, Vice-President of the European Patent Office (EPO) visited the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and had discussions with Mr. Shimano, Deputy Commissioner of the JPO on the future cooperative framework between both Offices and the situation of intellectual property in Japan and Europe. Also, they exchanged opinions on the Trilateral Cooperation (JPO-EPO-USPTO) and the IP5 Cooperation. It was followed by working level meeting between both offices.
