On October 2, the 57th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO opened in Geneva, Switzerland. Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) led a government delegation of the People’s Republic of China to attend the meeting. During the meeting, Shen Changyu introduced the latest progress of intellectual property in China in the past year and expressed appreciation for the achievements gained by WIPO.
Ma Zhaoxu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China’s Mission in Geneva and Zhou Huilin, Vice Minister of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of China (SAPPRFT) attended the meeting. The government delegation included staff from SIPO, the State Administration for Industry & Commerce of China, SAPPRFT, China’s Permanent Mission in Geneva and the Intellectual Property Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
