IPOS Supports Singapore Writers to Monetise Their Content


Recently, Chairman of IPOS, Dr Stanley Lai, delivered the opening keynote at StoryDrive Asia 2017. The two-day symposium, organised by the Singapore Book Publishers Association and Frankfurter Buchmesse (organisers of the Frankfurt Book Fair), was a platform for writers and publishers to network and gain insights on the latest developments in the publishing industry and growing markets across Asia.?Held at IPOS, the symposium was attended by over 100 local and regional participants. Dr Lai spoke about how Singapore is well-positioned as an IP hub for ideas and innovation. He also commented that cross-media and cross-industry collaboration is crucial for content owners to succeed in this digital age.
