Migu Video Judged to Pay Zhejiang Radio & TV Group 4.96 Million Yuan

On October 2015, Running Man (the 3th Series) was broadcast firstly in Zhejiang TV and CZTV.com and Migu Video Technology Co., Ltd. (Migu Video) also broadcast this work on its operating video software “Migu Video” on November 2015. Zhejiang Radio & TV Group claims that the behavior of Migu Video providing and broadcasting the work without authorization not only shortens page views on the website of Zhejiang Radio & TV Group, but also causes the loss of users and exposure of copyright resources. Recently, Hangzhou Internet Court made the judgement confirming that Migu Video constitutes infringement and should compensate Zhejiang Radio & TV Group 4.96 million yuan for economic loss.
