Shanghai intellectual property court made a judgement on the patent case of Sogou suing Baidu for "user multiple base", that rejected Beijing Sogou Science and Technology Development Co., LTD., the plaintiff's all claims. There is no infringement for Baidu input method, so the case arising costs shall be assumed by Sogou. The patent dispute began in 2015, and Sogou sued for Baidu 17 cases. Two years later, Sogou's 7 patent cases were judged to be completely invalid, 4 cases were partially invalid, and 9 lawsuit were withdrew.
