SAIC Head Met Director General of OAPI

On March 19, Zhang Mao, Head of the State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC) met Dr. Denis Loukou Bohoussou, Director-General of the African Organization for Intellectual Property (OAPI) in Beijing. Zhang said that China and Africa had profound friendship in tradition. The Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be held in China in September, 2018. The Summit will focus on the joint development of the Belt and Road between China and Africa. Dr. Denis L. Bohoussou highly affirmed the measures and achievements taken and made by SAIC for the promotion of China’s trademark and brand undertaking. He introduced that the OAPI was composed of 17 African countries speaking French and has a long history of cooperation with SAIC.
