According to the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation between the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO) and the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) on the Patent Prosecution Highway," the SIPO-EAPO Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot program launched on April 1, 2018 for three years to March 31, 2021. After the start of the PPH pilot program, applicants may submit a PPH request to SIPO in accordance with the "Procedures for Filing PPH Requests with the State Intellectual Property Office of China under the SIPO-EAPO PPH Pilot Program," and submit a PPH request to EAPO in accordance with the "Procedures for Filing Requests with the Eurasian Patent Office for Accelerated Patent Prosecution of Patent Applications under the SIPO-EAPO PPH Pilot Program."
