Beijing: Report Tracks Capital's Trademark Applications

A total of 264,853 trademarks were registered in the capital in 2017, together with 320,933 trademark applications, according to a report released by the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce recently. The top five sectors among the registered trademarks were advertisement sales, electronic apparatus, education and entertainment, skill services, and communication services, contributing 39.74 percent of the city's new trademarks in 2017. The administration set up service windows in five districts in the city for companies to register and collateralize trademarks as well as to take part in related consultations.
