2018/05/15

The provincial capital Kunming will implement a new regulation for intangible cultural heritage protection on July 1 to give priority and support in areas mainly inhabited by ethnic groups. More than 1.27 million people in the city are of an ethnicity other than Han. The regulation says cultural and educational administrations should support higher learning institutions and vocational schools to offer related majors or classes for the training of intangible cultural heritage professionals.
