Top legal minds and industry captains from over 130 countries and regions attend event The 2019 China International Fair for Trade in Services gives IP-related institutions from China and Europe a chance to discuss the industry's future and sign agreements on innovative projects, according to IP specialists. Themed on openness, innovation, intelligence and integration, the 2019 CIFTIS aims to become a world-leading fair in the global service industry. It promotes frontier ideas, advanced technologies, innovations and industrial standards. The event opened on May 28 and lasted through June 1 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The event has attracted more than 130 foreign countries and regions - many of them involved in the Belt and Road Initiative - as well as 21 international organizations. Thailand is the Guest of Honor Country. An international symposium on "Intellectual Property Rights: China-EU Integrated Innovation and Development Driving Force" was held on the second day of the 2019 CIFTIS with other influential law firms and big players in the innovative industry share their experience and ideas to spark innovation.
