2009 (the 3rd) China Trademark Festival opens
2009 (the 3rd) China International Trademark Festival opened in Qingdao city of Shandong province on November 9, which was the most influential event within the domestic trademark industry.
The trademark festival attracted over 70 guests from 20 or more countries, districts and international organizations including World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Trademark Association, the United States, Japan and Ukraine. More than 3,000 delegates took part in the festival from domestic and overseas IP governmental organs, agency organizations and famous trademark enterprises.
This trademark festival will last four days and will hold a series of events including China Trademark Annual Meeting, Domestic & Foreign Trademark Agency Development Forum, China Trademark Contest, Agricultural Product & Geographic Indication Exhibition and China Trademark Festival Presentation Party.
The theme of the festival is Implementing Trademark Strategy and Constructing Innovation-Oriented County. And this festival will showcase high standards, reflect the spirit of the age and focus on problems in the industry, according to the festival organizer.
China Trademark Festival was held biennially and the first two were held in Shenzhen in 2005 and in Changsha in 2007, respectively.
