UK guests visits Qingdao IPO

Days ago, the principal of IP Legal Affairs Department of UK Walker Morris Patrick Cantrill and his group visited Qingdao, and Director of Qingdao Municipal Intellectual Property Office Yang Chengzhi attended the symposium.

Both sides made communication on assistance works for IP protection, international patent application and IP talents training. Walker Morris expressed that they will actively help Qingdao to settle IP disputes occurred in Europe, present IP lawsuit cases, provide IP consultation, carry out training and answer for Qingdao's enterprises concerned in European IP affairs, and become the cooperator of Qigndao's enterprises.

UK is the recognized earliest country in IP protection and one of the countries that have most consummated IP system. Walker Morris was established in 1880, the headquarter is in Leeds; it is one of the perfect lawyers' offices and its IP Legal Affairs Department enjoys a high reputation in Europe. The institution understands the patent development situation of Qingdao via various channels, pays attention to the patent development situation of Qingdao's enterprises, and hopes to cooperate with Qingdao Municipal Intellectual Property Office and introduce their IP affairs in UK and EU.
