SIPO publicizes "Patent Examination Direction"

On January 21 2010, Director of State Intellectual Property Office Tian Lipu signed No.55 order and publicized "Patent Examination Direction". "Patent Examination Direction" will be formally implemented on February 2.

The revision of "Patent Examination Direction" focuses on adapting patent law and rules for the implementation, and adjusts some patent application and examination standards.

It is learnt that, in order to adapt patent law and rules for the implementation, SIPO launched the revision work of "Patent Examination Direction". At present, SIPO is organizing related experts to carry out publicity work in the while country.
