On January 29, the Inaugural Meeting on Hohhot Trademark Association and 2009 Well-known Trademarks Award Meeting was held in Hohhot Bureau for Commerce and Industry, and 28 recognized enterprises with well-known trademarks were awarded in Hohhot.

It is understood that, as of the end of 2009, Hohhot has had 6,985 pieces of valid registered trademarks, of which nine China Well-known Trademarks and 45 Inner Mongolia Well-known Trademarks, ranked the first in the autonomous region; moreover, 48 Hohhot Well-known Trademarks were also identified.

Hohhot Trademark Association will assist and support the members to carry out self-protection of trademarks, provide legal and policy consultation for members, actively reflect the trademark infringement relevant members to related departments, and assist industrial and commercial administration agencies and judicial authorities for prosecution of trademark infringement and counterfeiting, and provide a strong help for members to maintain trademark rights.
