Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturer Huawei and Vipnet launched its world premiere of the newest Wi-Fi modem, one that can simultaneously connect up to five devices to the Internet, in Zagreb, capital of Croatia, on Monday, reported the Croatian news agency Hina.

The new Wi-Fi hotspot modem was unveiled in Zagreb by China's Huawei and Vipnet, and the Croatian mobile network operator.

Hou Jun, director of Huawei Croatia and Hungary, said that Zagreb had been selected for the premiere launch, which also coincided with World Telecommunications Day, because of Vipnet's technological innovations and its number of wireless Internet users.

Huawei is one of the top three suppliers of telecommunications equipment worldwide, operating in 130 countries.
