Chongqing IPO to promote development of minisize enterprises

Chongqing Municipal Intellectual Property Office (Chongqing IPO) determined to take six measures to help minisize enterprises.
First, reduce the patent application fees for minisize businesses and subsidize their filings; second, foster IPR asset appraisal entities to assess minisize enterprises' IPRs in order to commercialize their patent rights; third, launch IPR pledge loan and give some interest subsidy to S&T SMEs that pledge IPRs for loan; fourth, provide patent information service and support for minisize enterprises so as to drive indigenous innovation, help small businesses to set up patent database and provide patent retrieval service; fifth, exert the role of China (Chongqing) IPR Safeguarding Center and provide services for mini enterprises such as IPR safeguarding consultations, IPR analysis and argumentation and IPR early warning; sixth, hold all sorts of patent exhibitions tailed for minisize enterprises to assist inventors to transfer their patent fruits.
