Beijing: top rank in government aid for international applicants

2010/07/14

The city topped the nation in securing government aid for international patent applications in 2009.

A total of 317 projects from 81 entities received nearly 13 million yuan, accounting for more than 24 percent of the nation's total.

Datang Mobile was the biggest beneficiary. With 117 projects, the company secured 3.65 million yuan in government aid, more than 28 percent of the city's total.
