Recently, China first proposed the concept of Intelligent Energy Networks and then, its development system, models and programs. According to experts, the Intelligent Energy Network will improve energy efficiency at least by 15%, while also lead the transformation of traditional industries to upgrade.
It is reported that by using of advanced communication, sensing, energy storage technologies, the intelligent energy networks is an improvement and innovation for the traditional energy system. According to reports, taking the global energy consumption of 11 billion tons of oil in 2009 into consideration, if the main global economic bodies push forward the building of intelligent energy networks, more than 10 billion tons of standard oil will be saved the whole world annually.
