Nikon Sues Trademark Review and Adjudication Board

2010/10/21

Nikon, a famous Japanese camera brand, has registered its trademark for different categories of products. It took Trademark Review and Adjudication Board of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the PRC to the court after it rejected its application to register the trademark for the 7th category (No. 3565606) whose specified products are paper machines, printers and tanning machines etc.

Nikon began the application in May, 2003 and was rejected in August, 2004. It then requested the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board to review its application but to no avail. The case is currently under further examination.
