On October 30, China Investment Forum on Animated Films and Cartoons opened. It becomes a hot topic that how to make domestic film the gold-digging point on the industry chain.

　　In recent years, animated film market appears prosperous, but is still embarrassing with regard to input-output ratio. Data show that from January to August this year, half of the eight well-known cartoons made in China lost money. However, the box-office of foreign animated movies were quite good in the same period.

　　Professionals pointed out that the major problem for domestic film is the lack of creativity. An U.S. professional Kevin Geiger said that domestic and foreign co-produced animated film is a fast growing path. "Kungfu Panda" is the combination of American movie mode and Chinese elements. Maybe China can try in a reversed way.

　　Chinese experts also said: "Sino-foreign co-produced animated film will be a new trend."
