Sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Shanghai WTO Affairs Consultation Center, the seminar for the 15th anniversary for WIPO’s "Agreement on Trade-Related Intellectual Property Rights" (TRIPS) was held in Shanghai on November 3. WIPO Secretary-General Pascal Lamy gave a speech via video. In the three-day seminar, experts and officials from the WTO, WIPO, UNCTAD and business representatives discussed relate issues regarding the impact, adoption, development and improvement of the "Agreement on Trade-Related Intellectual Property Rights".
