Newland release the world's first two-dimensional decoder chip

2010/11/25

Newland Technology Group recently released the world's first two-dimensional decoder chip with independent intellectual property in Beijing. The chip will transform traditional software decoding into hardware mode decoding by means of large scale programmable logic circuit. The decoding speed of the system is now more than 10 times faster than software decoding, and the reading efficiency (anti-fouling) is increased by 30 to 50 times. It greatly simplifies the rounding circuit and its peripheral components required by original coding system, reduces the cost and power consumption and improves its reliability. According to President of the Group Wang Jing, the chip has taped out successfully in Taiwan and passed test, and will be mass produced this year.
