China online game Copyright Protection Union Set up

Guided by the China Copyright Protection Center, actively participated by a number of online enterprises the" China online game Copyright Protection Union” will be set up on 16th December in Beijing. By then, CPCC network mechanism for online game copy rights protection will be released.

  According to Liu Ziming, P.I.C of the union, the union will adopt a series of measures to combat against infringement which has become the bottleneck restricting development of the industry; facilitate sound development of our online game industry.

  It is understood that in 2009, the actual sales revenue of China's online game reached 25.62 billion yuan, an increase of more than 39.4% compared with that of 2008, value of nearly 55.0 billion for related industries production.
