On April 1, Deputy Administrator for Policy and External Affairs from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Doctor Jasemine C. Chambers and her party visited Tongji University located in Shanghai City and signed a memo on cooperation with the Law School of Tongji University.

President of the Law School Shan Xiaoguang introduced to the guests the history of the school, subject advantages and international cooperation and expressed that the two sides could conduct wider and further cooperation in IPR field. Jasemine C. Chamber smiled upon what Shan Xiaoguang said and noted that USPTO and the Law School had favorable cooperation basis and she herself had confidence in the future cooperation between the two.

During the visit, Jasemine C. Chamber also had an academic discussion with the teachers and students from the Law School.
