Yunnan starting a "2011 Hundred IP Talents Cultivation Plan"

In a bid to further advance the implementation of intellectual property strategy in Yunnan Province, Yunnan Provincial Intellectual Property Office started a "2011 Hundred IP Talents Cultivation Plan". Under the Plan, Yunnan will select out 150 candidates from professional technicians and IP professionals for a systematic training on IP laws and regulations as well as related businesses. 

As introduced by an officer from Yunnan IP Office, the plan was to cultivate a batch of IP professionals in enterprises and institutions, a batch of IP research and teaching talents, a batch of patent attorneys with specialized qualifications. Yunnan IP Office encouraged each unit to recommend trainees to enter for the national patent agents qualifying examination. For the ones working in Yunnan and passing the qualifying examination, Yunnan IP Office will award them with a prize of 5,000 yuan, while the examinees passing one course of the exam will receive a prize of 1,500 yuan.
