On April 27, 2012, the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C. (SIPO) holds activities for its Open Day. SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu attends and delivers a speech. SIPO Deputy Commissioner Yang Tiejun starts the operation of the China Patent Inquiry System. SIPO Deputy Commissioner Bao Hong launches the new website of China Intellectual Property News.
