Fujian: New facility to drive

An IP education and research center isexpected to be unveiled soon at XiamenUniversity of Technology.

Co-founded by the school and the XiamenIP Offi ce, the center is designed to off ertraining and consultancy, popularize IPawareness, conduct research and promotethe commercialization of patents.

Xu Wendong, chief of the city’s IPoffi ce, said at the signing ceremony inJuly that he hopes the center can makefull use of the university’s advantages inmanufacturing and information majors tofoster IP professionals in law, policy andmanagement.
