Yunnan Provincial Intellectual Property Office launched a special campaign titled "Escorting" in early 2012. The Office dispatched law enforcement officials for 2000 person-time to check over 600 business places and companies. It handled 76 patent cases, tripling that of 2011 and including 23 patent disputes and 53 patent counterfeiting cases.

During the special campaign, the Office enhanced supervision and guidance in subordinate IP offices to ensure a full implementation of the action. In order to raise patent administrative law enforcement, the Office held trainings and lectures.
