QR code with indigenous IP right to be industrialized

2013/12/19

Currently, most QR codes used in China adopt technology and standards of EU, the U.S. and Japan, which makes us vulnerable to intellectual property sanctions and information theft. As the generation and recognition function of Chinese-Sensible Code has been mature, this technology, which is developed by China with indigenous intellectual property rights, will be industrialized soon, according to information released at a press conference on December 16th.

Developed in 2003, Chinese-Sensible Code is now widely utilized in sectors on medicine, food traceability and document management and could provide specific services in response to different requirements. Its users also gradually shift from industries to the public, which makes its commercialization possible.
