15% national top 500 firms located in Beijing

The ranking of enterprises with respect to indigenous innovation capacity was newly released by the research center of the State Council and China Enterprise Evaluation Association, 15% of which are located in Beijing.


Industry insiders said that Beijing, as the capital as well as a political and cultural center in the nation, is home to the largest number of universities, research institutions, key laboratories at national level and corporate technology centers, which makes the city more competent at innovation activities.


Top 100 enterprises in each sector including high-end manufacturing, energy, digital information, bio-industry, energy-saving and environment friendly make up of the Top 500 ranking list, and most of them are located in developed areas such as Beijing.
