Tianjin: Patent applications in Binhai District hit 24,087

Binhai District saw its patent applications reach 24,087, increasing by 62.7% and accounting for 41.2% of the city, fulfilling the designated target ahead of plan. Filings on inventions amounted to 9,652, up 87.2% with every ten thousand residents in the district holding an average of 13 such patents. Patents in force in the district recorded 24,510, up 36.3%.
