SARFT issuing a ban, Video Box being called off

It is reported on June 24th that the SARFT and General Administration of Press and Publication have sent a letter aimed at internet TV licensees in the middle of this month, and asked them to immediately shut down the illegal video software download channels in the Internet TV terminal products. At the same time, the SARFT has banned the reviewed video APP pre-loaded in TV box in Zhejiang and Shanghai, and required two Internet TV licensees, Wasu and Bes TV, to reorganize and immediately shut down the download channels of various client software of business audio visual websites, all kinds of video polymerization software and Internet browser software in all of their Internet TV terminal products, and immediately carry out technical processing to downloaded software. No new Internet TV terminal product is allowed to be issued before the reorganization is finished.
