New strategy to boost protection, subsidies

2016/07/28

IP infringement will be recorded into personal and corporate credit systems, according to theprovincial government's latest IP strategy. The government encouraged businesses to take arange of precautionary measures to improve the protection of their commercial secrets, includingusing the big data, cloud computing and Internet of Things technologies. The strategy alsoindicates that the government will provide subsidies and awards to patented programsaccordingly to reach the current goal of 24,000 annual patent applications.
