Recently, SIPO Commissioner Shen Changyu led a delegation to visit the French Industrial Property Office (INPI) and jointly hosted the 30th Sino-French Joint Patent Committee Meetings with INPI Director General Romain Soubeyran. They signed the Minutes of Talks of the 30th Sino-French Joint Committee Meetings. This was the first meeting of them since Mr. Soubeyran took office. Shen Changyu introduced the latest developments of IPR in China and SIPO. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the IPR policies of the two countries, IPR financing, public service, management of local institutions, patent qualities as well as other issues. On June 5th, Shen Changyu led a delegation to visit the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic (IPO CZ) and held talks with Josef Kratochvil, President of IPO CZ. The two sides signed the Joint Statement of Intent on the Cooperation of Patent Prosecution Highway between SIPO and IPO CZ.
