Live Broadcast of Time Raiders by YY host Affirmed as Infringement

Beijing iQIYI Technology Co., Ltd. (iQIYI) has the exclusive right to webcast Time Raiders granted the obligee. iQIYI held that Zhuhai Duowan Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Zhuhai Duowan) webcasted the above play without authorization and infringed its copyright. The Haidian People’s Court concluded the case and affirmed Zhuhai Duowan infringed iQIYI’s copyright and should pay RMB 500 thousand yuan for economic loss and RMB 20 thousand yuan for reasonable cost.
